I was saddened this week to receive the resignation of our Grand Director of Ceremonies, VWBro. Tony Del Nevo, who has cited health reasons.
Tony and Vanessa have been valued members of the Victorian Masonic family, and we shared great expectations about his year ahead in this key role.
Tony and Vanessa have asked that their privacy be respected at this time, but this does not preclude me from extending my sincere appreciation for their past considerable efforts for Freemasons Victoria, and to wish them well for their time ahead.

The sad passing this week of WBro. Peter Goebel, PJGD, Grand Steward, has come as a great shock to us all.
It was my special privilege to invest Peter as a member of the Grand Ceremonial Team just weeks ago at Freemasons Bayside. For Peter, his Grand Team participation for 2022-23 was a Masonic dream coming true.
Peter handled his sight disability with great courage. He was a much-loved member of Freemasons Victoria. He lived respected, died regretted. Our sincere condolences are expressed to Peter's family.
