New Plans For Good Friday Appeal

Register for the Good Friday Appeal BBQs at 28 Bunnings Stores

Freemasons Victoria has been asked to provide volunteers to operate barbecues at 28 Bunnings outlets, as fundraisers for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal.

We have been requested to provide Masonic Teams at the following Bunnings outlets from 3:30pm to 8:00pm at the latest on Thursday 21 March (one week and one day before Good Friday). Bunnings will provide the sausages and bread at their cost. They want our manpower to run the barbecues, and sell the food to their customers. All proceeds will go directly to the Good Friday Appeal.

This is a major opportunity for Freemasons to be seen in action, supporting one of Victoria's favourite charities. Freemasons Victoria needs to promptly advise Appeal organisers of our availability to assist.

So, volunteers are asked to immediately pre-register at www.fmvevents.com.au where you will be asked to provide your name, phone number, email address, lodge name and Bunnings location preference.

Working with Children Check

Working with Children Checks (WWCC) are a prerequisite for participation in the Good Friday Appeal. It is essential to possess a valid WWCC to contribute to this cause.

We recommend all members of Freemasons Victoria apply and hold a Free or paid for Working With Children Check.

The benefits of having a valid Working with Children Check ensures a safe and secure environment for all involved. It serves as a testament to an individual's commitment to child safety, providing peace of mind to organisers, participants, and the community.

Below are two helpful links:

  1. Verify the current status and validity of your Working with Children Check.
  2. Apply for a FREE Working with Children Check if you don't have one.
