About The Lodge

The Hand of Friendship Fellowship Lodge commenced in 1977 as a Lodge of Instruction for the sole purpose of providing a regular Lodge meeting for Freemasons who were residents of the Royal Freemasons' Homes.

The Hand of Friendship Fellowship Lodge received a full Warrant in July 2009, when the then Grand Master WBro. Garry Sebo constituted the Lodge as a Fellowship Lodge.

Most offices of the Lodge are filled on a rotational basis by volunteers who are not residents of the Homes, but give their time to continue the tradition started 36 years ago.

Dress is jacket and tie with regalia.

Special Functions: Official visits by the leaders and Grand Teams of a number of Masonic Orders on an annual basis.

The Grand Master and Grand Team of Craft Freemasonry make their official visit in July each year.
