About The Lodge

Thinking of joining Freemasonry or re-affiliating? Then why not consider joining Brae Dale Lodge where you will be made to feel very welcome. Brae Dale is a new Lodge that meets at the Belgrave Masonic Centre in Bayview Road, Belgrave on the second Friday of each month at 7.30pm.

Our name means “Hills and Valleys” and captures the real essence of where we meet. The Lodge is ideally located for those who live in or around the ‘Dandenongs'.

With a membership count of 80 Brethren, the Lodge offers a vibrant atmosphere to meet and socialise. Brae Dale was consecrated in July 2010 being the result of four Lodges coming together to form a new Lodge, encompassing the traditions and heritage of each of the former Lodges.

We have a strong commitment to the ceremonial aspects to our meetings together with social and community programs that allow for personal development and family involvement. As a member of Brae Dale, you will meet with men who value the principles of respect, tolerance and understanding, irrespective of ethnic or religious backgrounds.

You will also have access to an excellent reference library that will enable you to further your interest in all things Masonic as well as many books of a general nature.

The Belgrave Masonic Centre is a heritage building. Built in 1928 it has undergone a number of transformations over the years to make it a very functional facility. The centre is also available for hire and can cater for formal functions and special occasions with seating for 100. Enquiries for hall hire can be made by contacting Robert McGregor on 9842 3551.

If you would like to find out more about becoming a Freemason and joining Brae Dale Lodge, enquiries can be made with the Lodge secretary Roger Thompson on 9762 2688.

We welcome your enquiry.
