‘Twas Howard Mann near Ironbark who struck the Chiltern town, He wandered over street and park, he wandered up and down. He loitered here, he loitered there, till he was like to drop, Until at last in sheer despair he sought a barber's shop. “‘Ere! shave my beard and whiskers off, I'll be a man of mark, I'll go and do the Chiltern toff up home in Ironbark.”

RWBro. Howard Mann of North East Vic greeted by WBro. Mat Poppins
With $1,250 in his Mo Bro account RWBro. Howard Mann presented himself in the North East (of Victoria) where the Worshipful Master of Wodonga Lodge No 156, WBro. Mat Poppins greeted him with a smile and the working tools of a beard shearer. And it wasn't long before the whiskers started to fly! Meanwhile . . . out on the road, there was a cycling event going on!

And there it is! What was lost, is now found. The genuine secret of the missing bow tie has been discovered.
The FMCC (Vic) want to say a big thank you to RWBro. Mann for his beard, the WM of Wodonga Lodge for the shave and especially, to all who donated to the Movember cause via RWBro. Mann's Mo Bro account. Well done!
For those wondering what the Freemasons Cycling Club (Vic) members did: we just cruised around the 65km course, helped people stay safe on the road, did some planning for the 2018 Ride for headspace and generally enjoyed the scenery. Riders and non-riders all agreed it was a terrific day.
