Founded in 2008
Lodge of Evolution is now into its 3rd year since being consecrated in November of 2008 at the Masonic Centre of Victoria by MWBro. Garry Sebo, Grand Master.
The Lodge is focussed on the needs of men and their families while juggling their busy careers in addition to providing support and guidance to brethren new to the Craft. We are growing fast (both in numbers and in experience,) and use the experience of our senior members to train the next generation of Freemasons how to develop in Freemasonry and their interaction with the community.
Meetings are held on the 1st Saturday of each month so as not to conflict with other work and Lodge commitments which also gives the members a greater opportunity to bond and share with each other.
Our meetings are held:
- Odd Months (6.30pm): Collingwood Masonic Hall, 141 Gipps Street, Collingwood
- Even Months (6.30pm): Masonic Centre of Victoria, 300 Albert Street, East Melbourne
- Installation (November): Masonic Centre of Victoria, 300 Albert Street, East Melbourne
- January: No meeting
After the meeting members dine together at a local restaurant or join for fellowship and dinner at the Masonic Centre. Young men interested in learning more about Freemasonry or looking to join are welcome to come along and experience this part of the Masonic experience.
We typically also invite non masons to come to watch the Investiture of Officers on our installation night as well.
So if you want to know more, please contact us and we will be happy to invite you along, show you what our lodge is all about and answer any questions that you have.
Alternatively, you may contact Freemasons Victoria who also have a wealth of knowledge and experience ready to share with you.
